I got an email from an Honda dealer which said any vehicle on the lot at employee pricing. How much of savings should I see from the sticker price if it is 23950.00?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Patty Streeter, at This depends on the vehicle you select however, you will save more if you know what factory incentives are being offered on which vehicle on the dealership lot. Employee Discounts are not necessarily the best price you can negotiate for your new vehicle. You need to do some research on the specific make and model you are interested in buying BEFORE you go to the dealership. First you need to know what the dealership paid for the vehicle by getting the Invoice Price. There are many places to get this info on the web just search for Honda Invoice price on Google, many site have this info. I recommend The dealer hold back is normally 2% for Honda vehicles. So invoice price minus 2% of MSRP is the very best price you could negotiate to purchase that new Honda. See what they offer then ask for the price you have determined is their rock bottom deal. It is a buyers market so go prepared. Best time to buy last days of the month when they really need to move inventory!
