What estimated cost of having power steering pressure hose repaired? I called for cost of hoses and related parts around $60. The cost from an area shop to repair inc parts an labor is $220. Is this a fair price?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Deborah, The labor time I found for this job is around 2 hours and for a part from the manufacturer, about $120. Depending on the labor rate of the shop, this would cost around $300. I'd say you are getting a fair price. Lori Johnson
