Hi I have a young child and wanted to know if it is still possible to get a convertible. Also is there an alternative, a smart alternative to the minivan.

Jessie L Thatcher, F&I and Sales Specialist at Reynolds and Reynolds Company (Retired) You can, of course, get any vehicle you desire. However, if your child is very young and still in a car seat they will not be very comfortable in the back seat if the top is down. You might want to look at a sedan, many of them have very sporty looks but have ease of access to the back seat so you can actually get the car seat and the child in and out without a lot of effort. If you only have one child any sedan should offer you all the room you need. You just have to realistically look at your needs and desires, research the vehicle on the internet and then test drive some. You could also rent a vehicle you might be interested for the weekend and see if it actually meets your needs before you make the final buying decision. Good Luck.
