Please help? I have a 1994 Jimmy. The heater core went out last Dec., leaked all over the passenger floor carpet. I have severe back problems, and financial difficulties (replaced 4 fuel pumps only to find out someone dumped sand in my tank and had to replace tank, sending unit, fuel injection system, etc.)and cannot afford to take to professionals. How do I clean this mess using home products? My truck is junk, but I need to keep it running and believe me, it stinks inside. Please respond. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Sue

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Debbie Lee, President at Professional Car Care Sue, you can use any type of all purpose cleaner you have in your house in your truck... on the carpet, the seats, the dash, headliner anything.. as for the smell any type of home air freshener will work.. you should have all you need already in your house to clean your truck and freshen up the smell.. just look at it as cleaning a room in your house and you will know what to do..
