Yeah OK I am a bloke!
But my missus has a Mitsy G-Wagon which she loves. The only problem with it is the acceleration. she would like some!
Is there a bigger Mitsy engine we could use to replace the current 2.5 liter diesel to help overcome the problem?
I would recommend that you talk to a Mitsubishi dealer or a reputable engine re-builder to find out if there is another engine you could use.
This sort of thing can be tricky and should be thoroughly checked out by someone who really knows what their doing so that you don't waste your money or your time.

Before you start swapping engines, which can be very expensive, you may want to try a couple other options first. I suggest you change your fuel and air filters at least once a year, if you drive around 30,000 miles a year. (More often, of course, if you do a lot more driving). Also, make sure your tire pressures are at spec and, if you're near 100,000 miles, you may want to consider a tune-up.
