I have a 1999 lexus rx 300 in need of shocks(struts). Can you recommend a brand? What do parts cost. What is the time unit required for this repair.Thanks.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Francis, I do not recommend that you replace your struts with after market parts. Toyota makes lexus parts that are cheaper and interchangeable with most lexus models. I would get a price quote on genuine parts, you will need an alignment as well when you replace struts/shocks. Factor in a cost of about $85 for a 4-wheel alignement.
