The light on my dash has come on. It is showing something with the back of the car...I do not have my manual to check what this light indicator means. The light is an automobile with what appears to be light "rays" coming from the back of the car. thank you very much!

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Carrie, That particular light indicator on your dash is letting you know that you have a brake light or marker light out. Have a friend check your lights while you have your foot on the brake pedal to see which rear light is out. After you replace your blown taillight that dash indicator will automatically go out. Suzanne Grego, Technician at City of Philadelphia Fleet Management Carrie, All makes and models have their own warning light symbols. There are not too many things that are electronically monitored in the back of the car. One thing that comes to mind is that it could possibly be that you have a brake/tail light out. If possible, have someone check your lights in back for you to confirm it or rule it out. You could also try calling the dealership and describing the warning light to them. Suzanne
