I just bought a new car & was told the vehicle I want cost 3k extra so they were able to incorporate that in the payments because I needed a sunroof(claustrophobic) and leather(I am allergic to synthetics). I never saw the vehicle until they brought it out to me at 9pm, at which time it was too dark to notice a small dent on the rear passenger window. I took it to them the following morning so they could see it and I was told the part would be ordered and it never was. I ordered it instead but now I am being told by another dealer that the seats are not leather - they are leatherette. I called the manager who helped me and he said the model that has leather is 3k more. When I confronted him that that is what I originally agreed to with those specific features he apologized and said its 3k in addition to the 3k I agreed to! What can I do?! I just want the car I was promised at the rate I was told.

The best suggestion would be for you to contact VW yourself and ask for a mediator to handle your issues with the dealer.
If you have the requirements in writing that will help you resolve your issues. If you do not you enter into the gray area of he said/she said, and that can prove more difficult.
The factory rep would be more willing to settle your issues if the dealer is not helping you.
This points out the importance of getting everything in writing, but I realize that it may be too late in this case.
You can contact them via the VW web site or by calling the numbers listed on the web site.
