how do you know the best brand to buy of anything for your car; ie. Sparkplugs, tires, headlights, etc. ?
Answers from the Automotive Experts
Dear JMarie,
I always tell people that you get what you pay for. If you want a quality product, you have to pay for it.
There are some things that I recommend you buy from the dealership directly and that would be things like brake pads and oil filters.
You can always ask at a parts counter what they recommend. Beck Arnley, Borg Warner are a few of the companies that also make quality parts.
Always look at the warranty that is offered on the parts, this will tell you the quality as well.
