I think your main concern should be reliability. You need to go look at a few models like the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4 or a Subaru, do your research and determine which you like best. I think you will be best off with the Honda or Toyota as far as reliability and support.

Linda, There are so many great choices.I am familiar with Ford, Mercury and Mazda. They each have cars that would work well for you. You can do your research on the internet. Start by checking out the vehicles that meet your budget, then mileage. If this is going to be your last car you should consider an extended service plan. Shelly
