Shelly LoCascio, Dealer Principal at Irwin Lincoln Mercury Mazda Robin, I would encourage you to buy the extended warranty. It is good to have coverage for the time you own the car. The actually manufacturer plan is generally much better than cheaper outside plans. The manufacturer plan will be accepted at any Lexus dealer across the country. Ask if the plan covers just the power tran or components. Shelly LoCascio
