What is a fair price for an alternator for a 1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6 liter and rear stabilizer links?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Ninety830, You're looking around at least $200 or more for an alternator for that vehicle and about an hour labor to install it. The rear stabilizer links could cost anywhere from $40 to $70 in parts and it pays a little under an hour to do both sides. As always it depends on whether you are using OEM (original equipment) or after market parts and who's installing them. This should give you a pretty good ballpark figure. Hope this helps. Lori Johnson
