Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Julie, Vehicles don't do well after sitting for a period of time. You also may not know when it was tuned up or serviced last. I would recommend taking it to a Cadillac dealership and having it looked over by a technician. Gas and oil are the minimum you will have to do to it, and there may be other things like, air filter, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor...just to name a few. Have them do a diagnostic check and give you a list and then you'll have a better idea of what is wrong. Lori Johnson
