Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Dr. Dawn, Thank You for writing into askpatty, did your mechanic try to probe the wire harness with an ohm meter? You might need to check for continuity from the switch to the relay. Feel free to call me at Toyota of Hopkinsville 270-520-8539 for further assistance in this matter! AJ Pierce TofHopkinsville, ASM

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Hi Dawn, Sounds like you have done the work yourself. Might be time to take it to a Toyota Technician to do the work, or you could just live withoug the cruise control.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Dawn, You need to make sure that the electrical circuit is operating properly. If not, then replacing parts does no good. Make sure that you get a technician with good knowledge about electrical systems to check out this one. The components should be checked for continuity as well. Good luck. Lori Johnson
