I need to buy a car for my daughter, any advice?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Jenny Trostel, Partner at Anderson of Hunt Valley Check the safety features of the car. Check the insurance costs for the car you are looking at. Will she use the car for college or will the car be parked when she goes to college. If she will be commuting to college, you may want to buy a car with a good warranty. Take you time to choose the right car. Can your daughter change a tire? Every new driver should be able to change a tire and check all the fluids and know what the lights on the dash mean. Ask the service facility that repairs your vehicle to show her how to do that. Young people get very flustered when something happens to their car. Knowledge is power when driving a car. Good Luck!
