You did not way what year and the mileage are on your Ford Explorer. Hard to say what your vehicle could be worth without this information

Generally you will not get an equal trade for your car. You should do some research for the type of car you want to drive. Ask your friends and coworkers about the car they drive. Take your time to decide on the right car for you. Good Luck!
