I have a standard transmission. How do I know when I need to replace the clutch? The car has 69,000 miles on it.

Depending on how you drive, and a little bit of the luck of the draw, you may never have to replace your clutch. Or, you may have to replace the clutch more than once throughout the life of the vehicle. When you start to feel the clutch slipping and/or you hear a grinding noise, this is a good indication that your clutch is going bad and will need to be replaced soon. Suzanne
