If you just recently replaced the thermostat, make sure you have enough coolant/water mixture in the system. It should be a 50/50 mixture. Check the level when the vehicle is cold. Opening a coolant system when the car is hot can be very dangerous! Also, check to see if your cooling fan is coming on. If the fan is not coming on, I would have to suggest that you take the vehicle to your technician so that he or she can diagnose the problem correctly.
