Check for alarm installers in your area. You should be able to get an alarm that sounds if the trunk is opened. The only thing you can do from there is hope that someone calls the police when they hear it!
Unfortunately, if someone wants to steal something, there is usually a way to do it. The only thing you can do is make it harder and hope they pass your vehicle by for something easier.
Make sure there is something on the vehicle to let people know that you have an alarm. Sometimes this is enough for would-be robbers to pass you by. Good Luck.
