This means that if you put the type of vehicle into the alignment computer it automatically tells you what the alignment specifications should be. While I have always encouraged people to go to the dealership, this is something that can be done anywhere. I would make sure that you take it to an ASE certified shop so that you know that they have the best training. You can check your area with this website: This dealership should have done a better job at explaining why they want you to have it done with them as opposed to somewhere else, but bad specs would not be the reason.
