Where is the crankshaft sensor located on a 1996 pontiac grand am 4 cylinder.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Linda, The crankshaft position sensor is located on the engine block. It has a 2 wire connector and the wires are yellow and purple. I couldn't find a picture to send you. Good luck. Lori Johnson
