I have a 2006 Montana Van. The ABS and the Traction light has continously come on. The dealership says its just an 'update' that needs to be done and said itwas fixed. Once again, right afterward being fixed. (Supposenly)It is on Again. Wouldn't it be the Sensor light itself that needs to be replaced? Its currently under warrenty and will be soon out of warrenty...

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Mylissa, Unfortunately I found many complaints about your exact problem. Usually if the ABS light comes on it indicates that there is a problem with the system. I did see that there was a TSB (technical service bulletin) about this. It seems that there is a problem with a wire connector. Water is getting into the connector and corroding the terminals. This could be why your light is staying on but they find no problem. The TSB is 01-08-45-005D, Ask your dealer about this. If this is the fix they did and the light still comes on I would go back and have them do more to find the problem. It is not acceptable for the light to stay on when nothing is wrong. This is your only indication that the system is not working properly and it needs to be repaired. Hope this helps. Lori Johnson
