I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Single Cab truck with a short bed.
I would like to purchase a bed liner for my truck and have it installed.
I have no idea where to begin- the only option I know of is to get it from Dodge but I think I could get it cheaper if I knew where to look, and what kind of shops would install it...??
Can you help me?
I have a lot of scratches inside the bed and need to cover them up with a bed liner.
Also, do you think it is best to get an over-the-rail or under-the-rail?
Please try to point my to a site that has pictures so I know what I am getting.
Thank you so much for reading.

I've had a truck for 19 years and I had a bedliner put in when I first got it. I'm really glad I did. The bed has really been protected because of it and it gave it a more finished look.
There are many more options today than what there were 19 years ago. There are many companies that do a spray on liner now. The advantage to this would be that there is no movement with the bedliner which is something I experience sometimes. I don't know much about them, but they seem pretty popular. I would have someone do it, as opposed to doing it yourself.
I'm sure the dealer still sells the type that is a plastic mold that fits inside your truck bed as well. No matter which one you decide on I would probably recommend that you do the top of the truck rails as well. I have found many times that things put in my truck hang over the side and having it protected has saved many a scratch.
Take a look at these websites and do some research. I'm sure you'll be happy having a liner no matter which design you decide on.
