Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Mercedes, If the heater core was leaking you would have antifreeze/coolant on the floor. Since you're seeing water, most likely it's from the A/C...the evaporator. Ususally what happens is the hose that drains the water from the evaporator gets clogged and since it can't run out to the outside of the vehicle, it leaks inside. The best thing to do is to take your vehicle to a service station that can blow some air throught the hose to clear the blockage or check to make sure that the hose is not constricted in some way. Good luck. Lori Johnson
