According to a diagnostic code. A 406 code came up. I have a 2005 Dodge Grandcaravan with a check engin light on.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Carol, That code indicates an EGR position sensor high. This means that the voltage the signal is sending is too high. This could mean that there is a problem with the sensor or something else is wrong and it's sending the sensor bad information. There is a whole procedure on how to test for this code. You would do best to go to an ASE certified shop or dealership to get a diagnosis of the problem. Lori Johnson
