our daughter has a 1993 buick regal 3800, it is low on radiator fluid we think, but there is a warning that says to chech owners manual for special radiator fill recomendations. We dont have the manual. Any suggestions? Does it take that red radiator fluid?

Without the owners manual your best bet is to call a Buick dealership. Talk to someone in the parts department and ask them what type of coolant is used for your model vehicle. You may have to buy it from the dealership.
Many manufacturers require the use of their coolant.
Make sure that you only add the coolant to the overflow bottle. You should not open the radiator cap as you can compromise this pressurized system.
