How do I remove the original wiper blade from a 2000 Subaru forester all wheel drive suv to replace. Thank you for any help.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Susan, Here's a little trick you can try. The next time you go to the dealer, go to parts and buy the wiper blades. Bring them out to the service writer and ask if someone can put them on for you. They will usually do this for free. This will allow you to watch how it's done too! For now, lift the wiper arm off the windshield. You should see a tab in the middle of the wiper that when pushed, releases it from the arm. Once you have the blade in your hand it's usually just a matter of sliding the old rubber piece out and putting the new one in. If you have a blade that has the two thin metal guides inside the rubber blade, make sure you see how they're installed, because you'll need to put them in the new rubber piece before you install it. Make sure that you put the rubber blade in and pull it so the notch in the end clicks into place. This way the wiper blade will not come out. Good luck, hope this helps. Lori Johnson
