I love my 2007 Accord except for a intermittent situation which is only noticeable at night, not when my dealership is open. The running lights and bright lights work fine, but sometimes at night when I turn on the low lights, the icon on the dash comes on, and the lows shine, but they do not light up the road (not even the white center stripe shows up). This lasted 2 nights in succession this week, and I took it in to my dealership Wednesday. They found the dim*s height and adjustment to be accurate with no symptoms of electrical problems. Then, the lows worked fine for 2 days until last night. Again I fiddled with all the settings for the lights, and finally got the lows to turn on. This concerns me because if when the lows do not light up the road, I must drive with the brights on, *not good. (The car has not been in an accident, and I have not hit a pothole.) What is the solution to this?
The only way to diagnose this problem is to duplicate it, Your dealers
technician will have to see the problem happen to acurately diagnose what is going on with your vehicle.
Make sure they spend time in your vehicle so they can witness this problem.
You might even try going to a different dealership for another opinion.
