The security alarm on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix sounds for no reason at various times, even when it is not set. Any advice on what could be wrong and what to do? It is a factory installed component but I did have to purchase new remote entry devices from the dealer and they programmed them to the car. Not sure if this happened since then because I used to have to park a great distance from where I lived and I never would have heard it, but now I park very close, and it happens at least a few times a week, and very often during the night, but not only as I have had it happen during the daylight hours also while I was at work. Please help me, and thanks for your time.
