I just received my license last week and is so ready to purchase a car, I looked into the cars magazine and saw some used cars but its to pricey for my budget. I work part time and make less than $17,000 a year. So I don*t really want to fiance the car, I want to purchase it off the lot. My instructor told me about going to an auction to bid on some cars, is that a good idea
? He said I can get a 2002 Toyota for less than $3,000. Is that true? should I go? And what is the most should I pay for a 2002 Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla? Also How many miles should a 2000-2004 should have for it to be a good buy?
Do a search on www.autoextra.com to locate your used Toyota. You must have a dealer license in most states to buy at an auction and vehicles are sold as is. Buying from a reputable used car dealership that provides some warranty and gives you the opportunity to do a vehicle inspection by an ASE certified Master technician will insure you don't buy a lemon, aslo get a CARFAX report www.carfax.com before you buy.
