I have just changed my egr valve on my 1997 dodge stratus 2.4 fuel inj. well I have a steam coming off of it and I don't know where it goes. when I put everything back to gether I thought it was right ,but I cant find the line that must go to this pipe/steam,when I put my finger over it it blows air out of it so I know it must have a line some where to run to . My car runs great ,but I travel a lot and I know even though my car runs fine this pipe coming out of my egr valve goes some where. If you could be of any help at all I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks Lucy

Lucy,
You can
find the vacuum hose routing on the under hood emission label on your vehicle
that will show you where the egr vacuum hoses originate and connect. If for some
reason this sticker is missing from your vehicle you can find the information at
your local library. Once all vacuum hoses are connected according to this
information if one is still missing you should take your vehicle to an ASE
Certified Blue Seal repair facility for assistance.
