I have a 2001 Toyota Camry. Lately, when I turn the steering wheel hard to the right, there is a sort of squeal. It's only when I turn to the right. I have checked the power steering fluid and it's at the correct level. I will be making an appointment to bring the car in for service, but would like to have an idea ahead of time what possibly could be the problem. Thanks for your time and assistance.

Could be a number of things, a bad seal in the steering rack & pinon unit, a loose belt or a steering stop that needs lubricating. There are a number of possibilities. Good you are taking it in right away!
Do take it to an authorized Toyota Dealership or an ASE Blue Seal Certified repair center. You can locate an ASE Blue Seal shop here:
