I am interested in purchasing a Land or Range Rover that is a few years old. I see that the price drops drastically, almost suspiciously so, for one that is only a few years old. For example, one 3 yr old range rover was over $72,000 when it was new, but was selling for only $13,000 and appeared to be in good condition. Are used range and land rovers really good deals? Or do the ultra-reasonable prices indicate there is something to watch out for?
Run as quickly as you can! Unfortunately, these vehicles are very expensive to maintain and do not have a good service history as they get older. Look at other types of 4 wheel drive vehicles. Good Luck!

They are good cars but the insurance and repair fees can be pricey. Make sure to have a certified technician look the car over head to toe to check for common issues and potential things that may need to repaired.
