My l997 Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 has begun lurching and the tach revs to 2 or 3 while driving along at 60-70 mph, it's as if the gas is being depressed off and on. What would be the problem?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Patty Streeter, at AskPatty.com Could be anything from an failing idle air control value to a transmission problem. Take your Jeep to an authorized Chrysler Jeep dealership or an ASE Blue Seal service center for a complete diagnosis.
