It's possible that its an elctrical problem, a certified technician specializing in AC should look at it.

I don't see why replacing a battery would affect your a/c. Most likely it's just a coincidence. The compressor may not be working, a blend door may be stuck..only allowing hot air or it may be low on refrigerant. You should take this vehicle in and have the system tested.

You should take your car in to be checked out by a technician. Make sure the shop you are going to has ASE certified techs and is an ASE blue seal shop.
