I have a 2002 chevy impala 3700 v-6 that needs an air filter change. How do I do it? the manual is not very helpful.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Patty Streeter, at AskPatty.com Gail, Remove the air cleaner intake duct, unclip the two retaining clamps, remove the air cleaner cover and then the air cleaner element. Replace filter and re-assemble in reverse order. Of course you should always make sure you take your car for regular service to an ASE certified technician in yoru area. If your service technician is doing the correct schedule maintenance, the air filter should be changed in a timely manner.
