I am clueless when it comes to cars. I've tried to rely on some male relatives, but they seem to all have their own opinions, and confuse me 10 times more. I need a car... SOON!!! - my 13 yr old Isuzu Rodeo is not holding out much longer, and I have two young boys. Lease / Buy, Make / Models, Honestly, I do not know where to begin. I've shopped around and am interested in a Toyota, but the salesmen and their 'financial managers' seem so unfriendly, and really don't seem to care for the consumer (or is it just the female consumer??). What am I up for next? - Please help... Want to come to the next dealer with me? - ;o( Thanks.

Gayle Clark, Owner at Motor City Sales & Services I wish I could go with you, but since we can't, I'll tell you what I would do [smile] this should be fun and exciting time for you. First of all, are not alone on have patty and all the girls behind you. [Smile] we are only a few types away. Take some time to read up on what Toyota has to offer, call the dealerships and ask general lease vs buy questions. If you like Toyota, decide which one you want to buy / lease and lets do it! I personally like to lease [It's just something about getting a new car every few years] I also like the warranty / maintenance programs offered [find the package that best suits your needs]. I like the fact that the dealer has to repair [most, if not all of the repair while under warranty] if something goes wrong. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO HAGGLE with the salesman. See what he offers first....and always remember 'MONEY TALKS' it's your money so you have the to him, tell him what you want, how much you are willing to pay, discuss the features, test drive it, all of the above....if he is not listening to you or treating you with respect...put a smile on your face, thank him for his time, but before you walk away...... ask him, Is this dealership Ask Patty Certified? Trust me, somebody wants to get that commission check. I hope something has been said to help and encourage you. May the force be with you [smile] Gayle Clark
