My service light recently went on and I took it in and the local station manager did some quick thing and said not to worry. It's on again, now. Should I worry about it at this point?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Patty Streeter, at Take your vehicle to an ASE authorized repair service center or the local car dealership for the car brand that you are driving for a full inspection and diagnosis of the codes your vehicle is reporting from the computer in your vehicle that makes this light go on. The service light on can indicate several issues. You can also purchase a CarMD to read the codes from your vehicles computer yourself to tell you why the service light is on.
