I had to purchase a $75, 48-hour insurance policy to get my new car home 0n 9-3-06. When I went to my agent today I found I was covered for 4 days so I didn't really need this. What can I do to get my money back?

Hi Susan . . .My recommendation would be for you to contact the
dealer personally with this misunderstanding. In the State of KY, if
you have
another full coverage on a vehicle with a lien on it. . . you are covered for 14
days thru that vehicle. Also, they probably wanted to make sure you had some
coverage before you left. Obviously there was some sort of miscommunication
somewhere. I would recommend calling your dealer personally and
setting up a time to show him documentation that you already had coverage and
ask for a refund.
