Do you recommend using the synthetic oil or traditional?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Gayle Clark, Owner at Motor City Sales & Services I recommend for new cars, that you follow your vehicle manual directives to determine which oil is best for your vehicle; in most cases you must follow the directives to keep your warranty valid. However, in most cases Synthetic Oil is more expensive than the traditional all-season oils, but it burns more efficiently. Basically this means instead of the traditional 3,000 mile or every three months schedule, you can stretch this time frame a little longer to 4,000 miles or every four months.
