Why would an auto owner want to change their own oil and filter regularly... like every 3000 miles. I have heard from a former dealer mechanic that increased mileage between oil changes was only a stroke of a pen... that the engines have not been improved.
After hearing a grinding noise in the left front wheel whenever starting up a hill from a standing stop, we have finally taken the car to our mechanic. He says the CVJ (Constant Velocity Joint) may be broken, as he can spin one wheel much farther than the other while the car is on the hoist. Hope you can explain away wells fargo and their practice of billing hundreds of people with insurance a charge. Stating they don't have it when in fact its been sent by agent 6 times. A recent search shows many victims of this practice. Yet they recieve awards from this magazine?? WHats up with this and when will it stop??
The light on my dash has come on. It is showing something with the back of the car...I do not have my manual to check what this light indicator means. The light is an automobile with what appears to be light "rays" coming from the back of the car. thank you very much!
My brother recently acquired a 1995 Honda Civic, Ex Coupe. He would like to have an Owner Manual for the car and was told by local dealers he could only get it on line. I have searched the Honda sites and am at a loss of how to get it. Can you help? Thanks, Patricia Call
The fuel gauge in my car keeps going up and down. I filled my car up and I know it is full. when I turn the car on the gauge says it is full and then after driving for a few minutes it says that its empty. any advice?
My 2003 9.5 Aero Wagon has 88k miles and seized engine. Cost quote to repair is $4k used engine or $8k new engine. Dealer will take it as is in exchange for 2006 9.5 Aero Sedan with 1k miles for $35k. Do I repair with new or used engine or do I trade?
