I have a 1992 Chevy K1500 pickup. The joint at the tilt steering in the steering column is broken, I know I need to replace the steering column. What I am wondering is, will a steering column out of a 1989 Chevy pickup fit in my 1992?
Took car in to be checked out. Dealer found a catalytic converter problem and replaced, then the exhaust system. Picked up car and drove 2 miles and lost power took back now they say I have a electrical harness(?)problem to the tune of $2,000. Nothing really wrong with car before I took it in. A scam? Help!

Thunderbird.....An auto shop is telling me I have to replace my intake manifold $800.00 as it cannot be repaired They are telling me the brass fitting is leaking and not the hose......and only way to repair it is to replace the entire intake manifold..... Want another opinion. thank you.
