The rear brake pads on my Subaru Forester only had 2/32" left on them and have to be changed. Fronts are OK. What would make the rear wear so much faster than the front? I thought the opposite was true? Do I have to change rotors whenever I change brake pads if no damage is evident? Thanks
Truck does not like to start when wet( dry it out at distributer and it starts), is not running well once hot, stalls in reverse and slowing down around corners....my altenator died not too long ago. I replaced it along with new cap, rotor, and plug wires which I just did this week. Now I'm not sure what is going on with it. Any thoughts on where to start ...
My Oldsmobile Intrigue fan comes on all the time. I put the antifreeze in the coolant and it still won't turn off. This has been going on for three days and now the lights on the dashboard come on and they won't go off and now my battery went dead so what can I do to fix the problem?
My Saturn's A/C unit seems to to leaking freon!I Within the last couple of years I'd add coolant to the system, and I'd have cool air, but within a week, nothing.
Is this an easy fix? Is it just a matter of replacing or plugging up a hose? I don't want to spend too much money.

Engine light is on, ran codes, came back with many codes: 1399:probable blocked EGR, valve clearance out of range
P0300 Cylinder misfire; fuel system concern, ignition system concern, MAF sensor faulty,O2 sensor/air fuel ratio fault, blocked intake

Brought my van in for an oil change just before a 2,000 trip. Mechanic says both front axles are leaking grease and need to be replaced, $400 to do the work. A) is this a fair price and B) any way I can put it off til after my trip???
I have a duo temp on the air conditioner. One side blows cold and the other blows hot. The fan resister was just replaced.
