We cannot lock the doors with the remote. Also we must have the key fob inserted in the port to start the car. Could this be the transponder in the remote, and will we have to replace remote. The batteries were just changed in remote. Thanks

HI Patty, My Engine light came on after the first failed start up and then after the second successful start up, the light came. I haven't heard any funny noises from the car and idle is still smooth. Any suggestions of what to do next?

When I started the car it failed to start, and then the 2nd time I started it, it came on an then almost immediately the engine light came on. There haven't been any irregularities with the engine, no funny noises, so not sure what it could be

I have a 2006 Cadillac STS. I believe the engine is a 4.6 because under the hood it says V8 but correct me if I’m wrong. I took my car to autozone to get the check engine light read and it showed different engine misfires and also the code P0300. I thought that it was possibly the fuel injectors since that’s what the man at autozone recommend ...
