When I changed the oil in my car recently (I have a 2005 Trailblazer), I had them fill it with Mobil One Synthetic Oil as I heard it would give me better mileage and was better for my car, etc. However, no one can tell me how many miles I can run the car on this oil. I had heard that you don't need to change the oil as often with synthetic oil (not a ...
I own a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. After my last oil change when I start the oil light stays on for a good five seconds then goes out. The only time this light comes on is at start up. Is this something I should take into the dealership to check?
I am a 5'3" fluffy short-waisted woman who wants a 4 wheel drive vehicle that fits me. My Chevy trailblazer fits 6'2" husband beautifully, but... I need more lumbar support, a seat belt system that does not cut off my carotid artery circulation, a head rest that allows me to get my chin off my chest, a seat system that adjusts more upright, a tilt ...
Hi, I took my Chevy Trailblazer to the dealer for a recall repair and they said my water pump also needed repair for $460. I'm making the repair since I need to travel in a couple days, but asked the service rep and manager for discounts or coupons and they would not help me. Doesn't this seem expensive and a coincidence? Thanks! Karen
I bought this vehicle almost 10 months ago. I had to quit working and can no longer afford the payment even if it were lowered. High insurance is not foreseeable for me either as full coverage has to be on an auto loan. (I have found a used vehicle through a friend for a good deal so transportation does not need to be considered). My question is..if I do ...
I own a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer that has 11,000. I have been to a few dealers for small problems and have gotten it back and the problem were not fixed. What do you suggest??? Thank you, Charles
I have a low growling type of noise while driving my 2002 Trail Blazer. The noise is not constant and seems to change on left hand turns and my ABS light came on. When I asked around, I was told that it may be a wheel bearing. With 107,000 miles on the truck is this normal and should I it? There are two wheel bearings, right? Should I replace both of ...
I was told that I need a new thermometer but my engine does not over heat, except occasionally when I run the air conditioner. I have also noticed my car sounds a little like a jet engine. Can you help?
My vehicle works fine, I take care of it really good as far as if I need an oil change, brake pads, shocks, battery but other than that I havent really done anything else.... But I would like to know what kind of service I need to have done I'm close to 100,000 miles, now my vehicles has 95,xxx miles. But I havent really done any other kind of services ...
For the last couple of weeks, every time I stop at a stop light or stop sign, my Chevy Trailblazer idles very rough. It feels like it's going to stall (does the little shudder thing that cars do right before they stall), but it hasn't ever stalled, yet. I was hoping it was bad gas, so I let the gas run down and filled it up with premium and put in some ...
After how many miles over 100,000 do I want to start using a different blend of oil on my 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer or do I even need to?
What is the cost to repair the 4 wheel drive on my 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?
2006 Blazer 4.2 Engine 138K miles. Using/Losing Oil No Leaks, No Smoke. Any idea where I should start looking for the problem?
I drive a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Why does my steel wheel jump all over the place when I hit a few humps? I changed the front and rear bushing on both sides. Some people tell me it might be the rack and pinion and some people say it might be the knuckle before entering the rack and pinion. I haven't got a wheel alinement. Should I get that done first ...
the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer has the 4.2 motor. number 5 cylinder has a miss. plugs have about 50k on them. seems to get worse under a load.
My '03 trailblazer has begun having some issues. I know the back pads are toast and I assume that's why it grinds to a stop. What I don't know is if that's the only thing making it do it. When I come to a stop it grinds hard and when the truck is almost stopped it grinds hard to the point that it feels like the truck is dying. Also it doesn't want to ...
