MOORESVILLE, NC (May 24, 2006) -- The Lyn St. James Foundation (LSJF) is launching an eBay Charity Auction to benefit its “Women in the Winner’s Circle” program, an annual event that celebrates the success of women in racing while helping to build stronger ties amongst each other and the Motorsports community. The Lyn St. James Foundation is dedicated to training, advocating, and educating for diversity in racing until “opportunity” and “diversity” are no longer concerns – just taken for granted.
Items to be offered during the Lyn St. James Foundation eBay Charity Auction reflect the extensive racing and business career of St. James. Included are rare photos from a 1981 Ford Motor Company publicity shoot, an autographed copy of St. James’ book Ride Of Your Life, 1992 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year poster, “11th Row Society” Pace Car jacket and t-shirts from the 2000 Indy 500, and an ESPN pit road firesuit.
