If you are looking for automotive advice and happen to be a woman, go ahead and ask Patty. If there is an answer, she'll find it for you. AskPatty.com is an automotive advice site for women, specializing in advice and stories about car care, car buying, car repair, car maintenance, car safety, and just about anything else car related.

Women can submit posts directly to the Ask Patty website. The Ask Patty advisory panel of automotive expert women is headed up by Deborah Renshaw -- professional NASCAR driver, and is comprised of women who hold various leadership positions in the automotive industry.

According to the people at Ask Patty, "women purchase over 50 percent of all vehicles sold in the United States each year and influence 85 percent of the buying decisions, spending over $80 billion." Ask Patty has created a safe place for women to get advice on car purchases, maintenance and other automotive related topics. Women can Ask Patty for automotive advice on the Ask Patty "Get Advice" blog or web site. Patty will typically reply back to you the same day. Selected questions and answers are answered by the panel of automotive women experts for the benefit of all women.

Another part of AskPatty.com, Inc., is the Certified Dealer program, where you can search for certified, female-friendly dealerships. You simply pick the car manufacturer you are interested in and type in your zip code. The results will show you the Ask Patty certified dealers in your area. The certified dealership list will continue to grow as more dealerships sign up for the certification training.

Dealers that become "female friendly" certified could see an increase in car sales to women and an improvement in their retention and loyalty ratings from women consumers. Certified Dealers will display the Ask Patty logo on co-branded marketing and advertising campaigns.

Additionally, dealers will be able to link their websites to AskPatty.com which will provide a new source of qualified women consumers who consider Ask Patty a trusted brand.

Ask Patty is endorsed by the Women's Automotive Association International, WAAI Website, the premier professional women's automotive organization, established in 1995 to recognize the achievements of women in the industry, provide educational e-news to automotive career-focused individuals, build relationships through networking and other interactive forums and encourage growth through mentoring, educational endeavors, and scholarships. The focus of the Association is on the development and retention of women leaders and the education and support of all persons, without prejudice, who have an interest in the automotive industry.

"Ask Patty is a safe community for women in a male dominated industry," says Lorraine Schultz, CEO and Founder of the Womenis Automotive Association International. "Ask Patty and the advisory panel of expert automotive women are helping consumer women make educated decisions about their automotive needs and enabling them to have a better experience with local car dealerships."
