Diana Claussen Bio

Born into a mechanical family of men (involved in motorsports and aviation), I learned from a very young age how to hang with the boys.  Through the years I came to realize that because of my upbringing, being at ease within diverse atmospheres was truly a blessing.  Possessing many interests was also something which helped guide me to who I am today – A female in what is still a very male-oriented world. Toss in my love for motor sports and automotive journalism and I sometimes find myself to be the only one of my gender reporting from the sidelines of racetracks, monster truck rally’s and Supercross events.

With a background in communication, sales, and marketing, and a love of the automotive industry, my passion is to further the importance of women being recognized within and by the industry as today's leading automotive purchasers.  My other inspiration is to help all women understand and be empowered when it comes to gaining industry recognition, car purchasing, and making informed buying/repair decisions.  Knowledge is the tool needed by both the industry and female consumers.

My personal motto to industry leaders is and will always be, "The manufacturer who truly recognizes the importance of the buying power of women is the organization who will be making the most sales."
