Brandy Schaffels, Editor at AskPatty.com, Inc. Our most recent review of the Ford Escape was on a 2013 model year vehicle. http://caradvice.askpatty.com/ask_patty_/2013/08/2013-ford-escape-from-a-bmw-x5-owners-pov.html In general, the Escape is Ford's most popular utility vehicle, having sold more than 205,000 units this year already.

"Titanium" is a trim level, which describes how much content that model is equipped with. In this case, "Titanium" describes a top-of-the-line trim level, which means that Escape is pretty well loaded with standard features. If that's what you want, then great. If you're looking to save a little money and don't want so many features, then you might consider a lower trim level.

Unfortunately, I don't have experience with buying from a rental fleet. I would approach it just as you would any used-car purchase, and ensure that they offer you some kind of vehicle warranty.
