Answers from the Automotive Experts

Brandy Schaffels, Editor at AskPatty.com, Inc. I suggest you take the vehicle back to the dealer to check whether the replacement radio was properly coded when it was installed. Many audio components in cars these days have security systems that intentionally disable the device when removed from the car, to help reduce their value if stolen from the car. For additional assistance, please find an AskPatty Certified Repair Shop at http://www.askpatty.com/search/?type=all&m=30&q=&keyword= and they can help you diagnose and repair the problem.
